Operation Anaconda:

Using the now partially cleared Tora Bora Complex (Operation Black Dust), the plan calls for an assault of Takur Ghar, a peak in the White Mountains at over 11,000 ft. Then it's on to Objective Remington slightly lower in the range.

3 OP's have already been established, occupied by Allied Special Forces groups, ready to assist the ascent of Takur Ghar. These consist of SAS unit "Juliet", US Delta unit "India" and USN Seals team "Mako 31".

Operational Objectives:

1. Consilidate the Tora Bora Complex and capture/clear the escape routes
2. Ascend Takur Ghar and capture the stronghold
3. Clear the mountain passes, preventing the escape of HVT's
4. Reach Objective Remington and destroy all Taliban Artillery pieces that present a threat to the Forward Base at Gardiz.

UKSF: SBS and SAS
Uniform: Mixture of DPM desert kit and Civilian.

USSF:Delta and SEALS
Uniform: Mixture of US desert kit and Civilian (Multicam and ACU)

Operation Starts 11am 25th Aug 2007-Operation expected to end 4pm Aug 26th 2007

We will be enforcing a strict uniform policy. There will be NO "winding" mags allowed. A social event will run over the Sunday evening and you may camp over until Monday 27th.
